2020-2022 Hydrogen CPV development with Fraunhofer IPT and Pixargus

TANIQ is working on the development of Hydrogen composite pressure vessels (CPVs). TANIQ is collaborating on this topic with Fraunhofer IPT (Germany) and Pixargus (Germany).

The aim of the project is to explore and optimize process and system technology for the digitalized manufacture of composite pressure vessels in laser-assisted tape winding operations. Parametric design and process software as well as an inline quality monitoring system also feature in the development work in the project.

TANIQ will be responsible for the composite pressure vessel design, and for developing the design and manufacturing software having integrated functionalities for control of critical process parameters of the laser-assisted thermoplastic tape winding process.
